Mens BULOVA Postwar size Mechanical Set & Autowind 23 jewel 10 BPAC Goldfilled

This Bulova from 1955 is a wonderful example of what was being offered by the American and Swiss Company, Bulova. The cases were all gold filled, not the thin electroplating, and the sizes of 31mm reflected the size of watches during WW2 and just after. The movement, Bulova's 10 BPAC, reflects its alloy and polished finish with a full 23 jewel balance protected staff. It is also a movement that is adjusted in all 6 positions, allowing for greater accuracy among timepieces of the era. The beautiful case has a scalloped look bezel and a full face crystal that is perfect. The dial is a dazzling gold fleck that sparkles with the gold raised markers inside the scalloped case. The movement has had a recent service and does keep good time. The complimentary expansion band by the USA Co. Twiston is stainless underneath with all gold filled caps, matching the GF. of the watch case. This Bulova is a unique and collector grade timepiece. This timepiece can also be handwound. A real find.
