Vintage amber hobnail, imprisoned/caged glass vase.
Handblown.
The metal part is unique because it is one piece with no seam.
Mid century brutalist style.
Not signed.
I cannot find another piece like this.
It is likely Italian or by Mexican artist Felipe Derflingher who makes caged glass.
No chips or cracks.
I'm not sure what the correct term is, but I would say there are stretch marks in the glass- in areas below and above the metal and between each ruffle; these really show the handblown nature of this piece.
