Genuine WWII Memorabilia
Hand Engraved Aluminum Lift Arm Trench Lighter, engraved on the front with a scene from Venice, Italy.
It is in Great Condition considering its age, and even has a stand; which when compared to similar items, it’s pretty rare to find one still fully intact with the stand as well.
I don’t know everything about this piece but research suggests that these lighters were typically made during WW2 by soldiers or prisoners of war using parts from downed aircraft and other equipment around them, they would then etch something special to them on the front, making it unique and one of a kind to them.
