46 Caran D’Ache Neopastels (Oil Pastels)

There are 46 oil pastels included. 2 are missing from the original set: white and a pale blue. 5 show more use than others- the tip of the ultramarine broke off (see photo). The pastels come in the original tin with plastic cradle inserts. The outside of the tin has some chipped paint (see photo). All of the pastels are pigmented and creamy- except the color pink- it is a little scratchy/dry feeling. See the swatch.

While creamy- these are firmer than Sennelier pastels. They compliment each other well. They are extremely lightfast, vibrant, professional quality paints. These can be purchased open stock when you want to replace one.
