Officially named MUSHIN "Emptiness of Mind," this kokeshi is also popularly called, SEISHIN NO KOMUGI, "Spirit of Wheat."This design won the Prime Minister's Award in 1968, the highest prize. 9 inches tall, 2.5 inch wide, weight 6oz.The doll is in very good, original condition consistent with age and standards of collectable Folk Art, with all details perfect and as crafted.
