This vintage Tel-Art hand painted Mexican skirt dates from the 1940’s. It is made of a 100% cotton fabric with a colorful, picturesque Mexican village figural scene rendered in luminous metallic colors. This fabulous full circle skirt has an adjustable tie waist with hooks and eyes closure and pockets. There is a "Tel-Art Hand Painted Washable Made in Mexico" label and size Medium tag inside.It is in good pre-owned condition with some fading of the black fabric, some loose threads, and a slightly separated seam on the waist tie, as shown in the photos.
