**The Mysterious Melmo Treasure Book**

This is the first visual book to collect precious materials from the TV anime The Mysterious Melmo (1971), based on the original work by Osamu Tezuka. It finally publishes! This book includes approximately 800 valuable illustrations, including original drawings discovered in March 2014 from the unopened locker in Osamu Tezuka's workroom, most of which are published in a single volume for the first time.

The Mysterious Melmo colored the TV screen with its impressive theme song.
The series, which was planned and produced as the first TV anime by Tezuka Productions in 1971, tells the story of Melmo, the protagonist who receives Miracle Candy (red and blue candy) from his mother in heaven, and grows up by transforming into various animals, including babies and adults, by eating the candy, overcoming crises.

This book, The Mysterious Melmo Treasure Book, is the first visual book to collect illustrations for the anime, mainly by Tezuka himself, which had been considered a phantom. It includes valuable illustrations and related materials, including original drawings discovered in March 2014 from the unopened locker in Tezuka's workroom, as well as color illustrations drawn by Tezuka for the program, and 14 episodes of the original manga that were not included in the complete collection (three of which are published in a single volume for the first time). The book features raw manuscripts without excessive retouching. This is a must-have for fans.
