This is a nice heavy duty, it has some weight to it Celtic knot hare barrette. It is 4 in long and opens by squeezing the sides of the part that pops up. I believe it to be vintage. I found it in my eldest sister's drawer. The back shows some wear because it's vintage. It's really cool and I would use it if I had any hair but I've gotten extremely short, thin hair. I've seen them listed for up to 75 for this exact barrette
