My Mom always says that every Italian household should have a pasta machine. Promptly giving everyone in the family one. And always has a few in reserve in case one breaks. Mind, she has her Mother's machine and it hasn't broken yet.
This is a used machine, but barely. Still has its new shine look. Made by a company called Mercato. It has plastic handles (upgrade from wood and can go in the dishwasher). But only the handles, I recommend a damp cloth and a small hand broom to clean the machine itself.
Mostly this reminds me of the traditional ravioli making party our family participates in about twice a year. We always invite a newbie to teach them the method. My Mom's secret recipe taped to the inside cabinet door handed down from many generations until perfection has been achieved. A bit of a workout but a very tasty reward, which doesn't last long. 21 dozen ravioli gone in one night!
