* Marked German on the bottom in red, also incised 5497
* Not Goebel
* Each bird is hand painted yellow, blue, red and green with black eyes and beak
* Standing on burgundy bases 2.75 inches high
* One has 5 holes, the other 7 holes, indicating they are pre WWII
* Original corks have been pushed into the shakers
* In nice condition, no chips or cracks but there is paint loss
