The horses are a soft suade-like material. Their hooves are covered in sparkles embedded in the fabric (they don’t flake off) and their faces are embellished with decorative stitching around their eyes. The braid on the tan horse mane was undone, but that is the only difference from being new. Great set for play or even to display because they are that eye-catching!
