This wig is a partial monofilament. Never worn except to have my master hairdresser cut a few layers in to make it more flattering around the face & back. It is not human hair. I think it’s actually better. It’s a heat friendly proprietary synthetic fiber that is heat friendly up to 350 Degrees F. For further info go to their website-Wigs for Every Woman.
