Check out this beauty from March 1971. This Seiko DX features a large (for the era) 38mm gold tone case surrounding a deep red/burgundy - maybe pinot noir - colored dial which appears a deep blood red in the light.
The day/date aperture at 3 has a nice gold frame around it, highlighting the attention to detail.
The gold toned expansion bracelet is also in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear.
The gold tone overall is in excellent condition with no fading. There are some minor scratches around the bezel, as expected with a 50+ year old item, but the crystal is clear.
The movement is running very well.
The only issue I see is someone decided to prove you can remove a screwback with a pair of scissors, with OBVIOUS results! At least you can't see that assault when wearing it.
