This classically lovely vintage floral botanical print by Redouté has been framed in a pretty, ornate gold wooden frame. It has been double matted with a large ivory Moire silk mat and a dark green & polished brass accent mat that brings out the beautiful colors in the flowers. Originally from the Private Collection of The Bombay Company, it depicts an enlarged reproduction print of Rosa Damascena from the original antique illustration published in Les Roses, 1835. Full of muted jewel tones and rich, warm golds this picture is the perfect complement to many classic decor styles!
The picture is in very good vintage condition. The frame has a bit of small chipping in places, but it is minor.
The picture measures approximately 23.5 W x 28.5 H x 1.25 D from the outside of the frame. The interior print measures about 13.5 W x 18.5 H.
