The trinket box is in good condition for its age.
Dimensions approx 7 & 5/8 Wide x 6 Tall x 4 Deep.
The coin in the image have the inscription 招財進寶 (Zhāo cái jìn bǎo), which translates to Attracting wealth and bringing in treasure. This is a common auspicious saying found on Chinese charms and coins, symbolizing the desire for financial success and good fortune. The round shape of the coin is believed to represent the sky, while the square hole in the center symbolizes the earth.
The right side of the lid does not sit flush, it is slightly off. The first picture displays what I am talking about. You can probably correct this by adjusting the screws on the brackets. This is a very slight but I like like to mention things as I see him.
