Courrèges vintage cigarette slim wool trousers from the 1970s.Extremely rare archival piece from at least before 1974 (in which this Courrèges logo was trademarked and revised ). Designed under the founder Andre Courreges himself, these slim cigarette high waisted pants are made from 100% wool. Snakeskin leather textured trims accent the waistband & leg openingMasterfully tailored in a modern, streamlined approach that has strokes of futuristic mod aesthetic, Andre was renowned for pioneering during the 60s. It’s fitted to fiercely flatter ones body shape, (no matter the gender), yet still feels very cozy.Size on label 40 FR , approx a US6-8. Has a bit of stretch.Measurement estimates:Waist 30”Front rise 9.5”Inseam 32.5”Length 42”Leg opening 8.5”In very good condition. The trims on the hems has a bit of wear & tear + on side clasp as expectedfrom a vintage gem nearly half a century old. Aside from that, she’s been used & cared for lovingly.
