The first dolls of this type were made in 1903. There are no marking on the doll, but this was not unusual at that time. Antique three-faced doll with porcelain bisque head, arms and legs. Doll wears an Edwardian style dress and bonnet. This adorable three-faced doll can cry, laugh or sleep depending on how her head is turned. The porcelain parts have no defects, the rest of the body is made of fabric and is filled. Doll still wears the original clothes. On doll's backside are 2 metal snaps to open to take off the dress. Beneath is an under dress that is not detachable. This doll is in very good condition. See photos for condition. Approximately 8.5” tall. A very unusual baby for doll collectors. Great for Christmas decor or gift.
