Rare find: The Kewpie Doll from the 70s and 80s has a movable head, arms and legs. The vinyl doll features beautiful blue eyes with gorgeous lashes, kiss, curl hair and bottom dimples. A unique retro baby doll for little ones to add to their collection or as a decorative doll. They also make a fun decoration for baby showers and birthday cakes. Kewpie dolls originated as a comic strip character by cartoon cartoonist Rose O'Neill in women's magazines in the early 1900s. They were a symbol of innocence and love. Size 8 inches tall, 5 inches wide. No markings found. Condition Very nice, clean and like new vintage. Backside of right leg has a very faint small mark. See photos with pen. Top of nose has a very light shadow All joints move well. There is a manufacturing dimple on its left leg. See pics. Non smoking pet free home.
