This unusual and collectible hand-painted incense burner features a seated smoking man in sculpted robes. Likely made in post-WWII Japan, this figural piece is decorative and functional. Smoke exits through the mouthpiece, making it a standout conversation piece for collectors of MCM oddities or vintage incense burners.

Incense-activated: cone burner with hollow chamber

Matte glaze with aged patina and surface wear

Underglaze stamp on base (partially legible)
