NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS Autograph Card / GLENN SHADIX As Mayor / BEETLEJUICE

Glenn Shadix was born in Alabama in 1952 and lived in New York then Hollywood where he was part of the comedy troupe ‘The Groundlings’. After a few small roles in film & television, Glenn got his big break in Tim Burton’s 1988 hit movie “Beetlejuice”. He played the meddling interior designer Otho and spent the next 20 years in film, television, theatre, and voice-over work. After 30 years of living in Los Angeles, Glenn moved back to Alabama in 2007 where he passed away in 2010 at the age of 58. In 2001, NECA released a trading card set based on 1993’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” where Glenn voiced the role of ‘Mayor’. Only Tim Burton and 3 of the voice actors signed cards for the set and only a lucky few collectors got an autograph card in their pack. Glenn signed this card in red Sharpie with his usual flair. It measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is in near-mint condition. It will come in a thick, acrylic holder for protection.
