This beautiful genuine amber jewelry set is truly remarkable. Tons of amber and opalite was used to create this unique set. The necklace is 20-21 in. long and the bracelet is 7-8 in. long. The amber comes from the Simojovel mines, the southernmost part of the Mexican region. Amber from these mines has been carbon dated 25-30 million years old. Most of the pieces of amber have tiny inclusions( pieces of algae, moss, leaves) which have been trapped in there, literally, for ages!
