【Operation Check】
The following items were checked, and it was confirmed that the product is in normal working order (checked with AC adapter and ⑤ AA nickel-metal hydride batteries x 2).
① CD playback with dry cell batteries
② Normal operation of each switch on the main unit
➂ Normal function of the remote control switches and normal LCD display
④ Normal playback of commercial music CDs, CD-Rs (MP3 recording), and CD-RWs (MP3 recording)
⑤ Head start within about 5 seconds when skipping between the first and last tracks of a music CD with approximately 72 minutes of recording
⑥ No sound skipping or noise when listening to all tracks of a music CD with approximately 72 minutes of recording
⑦ No sound skipping when the main unit is tapped normally with a finger during CD playback

【Continuous Playback Time Check】
As a result of measuring the continuous playback time under the following conditions, it was 21 hours.
① Installed the included nickel-metal hydride batteries x 2
② Connected the AC adapter GPE006D-045100-6 and plugged it into an outlet
➂ Pressed the □/CHARGE button on the main unit to start charging (Charging flashing/battery mark lit)
④ After charging is complete (Charging flashing/battery mark off), remove the AC adapter from the main unit
⑤ Connected the included remote control + stereo earphones and placed it horizontally
⑥ Played a commercial CD with approximately 72 minutes of recording in all-track repeat MODE (volume set to 1/3 of the maximum value)
⑦ Measured the time until stopping

There are no noticeable scratches or stains on the main unit or accessories.
