Gorgeous Moonglow Lucite pot metal floral brooch in a huge size!
This piece is probably from the early 1940's, and it's very well made. The blue stones are prong set, and also possibly glued, the rhinestones are glued.
Years ago, women were wearing beautiful, gorgeous brooches that were literally works of art. This one is an amazing piece that no one else will have.
This piece has some wear, as would be expected for a piece that is this old. It may be by Chanel Novelty Company, later known as Reinad, Coro or another vintage manufacturer, however, the style indicates it's Chanel/Reinad.
The silver metal has a patina, as most older pot metal brooches do. All stones are present, and the lucite GLOWS, and the rhinestones SPARKLE.
It's really stunning, and, in all the years we have been looking at jewelry, we have never seen a piece quite like this. It would have been fairly expensive when made, and has kept it's value!
It's a rare piece, and will be the pride of your collection.
