40s - 60s vintage jacquard rayon Japanese pajama set. Made in Japan. Beautiful olive green jacquard print top. Top has 3/4 sleeves, split hem, front pockets and 5 knot style closures. Small mock collar. Pants are cropped length. 3/4 elastic back waist with front smooth band. Split hem with knot closures. I think someone replaced the elastic in the pants AND did an excellent job! Plenty of give in elastic. This would make a lovely recital outfit!
Used. Very clean. Pants are tagged S. Top has no size. Check measurements. Faint rust stain on back collar from hanger. See pictures. This fabric has NO stretch and is not dry rot, but will need to be handled with care.
Top: pit to pit 18.5”, armpit to hem 14.5”, armpit to cuffs 9”, top of back collar at tag to hem 23.25”.
Pants: waist 27”-30”, hips 39”, rise 14”, upper thigh 22”, inseam 21”.
