Fabulous, large vintage sterling silver and Carnelian ring. Purchased at an estate sale, this has a large smooth, rectangular shaped Carnelian gemstone with a semi matte finish. The stone is gorgeous! The photos were taken outside in both sun and filtered sun and only the background was changed. It almost looks like a ruby with in the sun. It has a double framed bezel and all sides have raised half circles set inside a channel. The ring shank is widest at the top tapers as it goes around. Marked 925, weighs 9.35 grams and is a size 8.5 on my mandrel. Bold and beautiful ring!
