Fluorite should not be exposed to too much light of any kind, especially certain UV types. If you are dealing with morandi blues, or any kind of complex matrix from the areas of Mongolia or northern Asia, temperature and sunlight will definitely affect and basically kill the fluorite. It will get covered with a grey parasitic film and it will disappear behind it. There are ways to correct this but it takes time and patience. This one took a year.
