This is just an incredible gemstone gemstone. At 1st glance it appears to be a very dark opaque forest green but when you backlight it, it comes to life with red, green, yellow and Orange colors. Some Epidote does have this trichroic property but only in the high quality gemstones. What adds a little extra flavor are the Actinolite inclusions. This creates some interesting light diffraction that is very aesthetic. It enhances the light and dark colors.
