Vintage Rugerio Puebla Pottery Ashtray Hand Formed and Painted Bowl Floral 8.5".This is a hand-formed, painted and fired, ceramic bowl with indentions. To me, it looks like an ashtray, but it could be used for anything. The flowers look more delicate to me than most Talavera pottery from the region. This is from the Rugerio pottery in Puebla, Mexico. It is early mid-century, probably 1950s, so the crazing is to be expected. There is a chip, shown in photographs. I have priced taking this into consideration.
