About the brand:
Wadsworth Watch Case Company was established in 1892 after previously being H.A Wadsworth & Co. The company was well known for their gold filled cases and designs. In the 1940’s / 50’s they began making their compact cases for women’s makeup. The company was bought in 1953 but couldn’t compete with foreign imports and finally closed down in 1958.

This piece features one of their many stunning designs and craftsmanship. This vintage compact has held up for 7 decades and is ready to be collected or utilized by someone new! As stated in the item condition, item has some previous powder residue remaining. Please be cautious when opening it. The top of the compact has a stunning gold-tone floral design. The compact itself is a square shape and the bottom is a fabric material. I assume this is for easier storage in purses and bags.
