This is an antique flat weave Turkish kilim rug, 120 x 149 . It is very bright on one side and muted a bit on the other, probably from sunlight. The colors are quite spectacular.
It is damaged in one corner. A cut was made for some reason (and sewn up) and a piece the size of a fist removed. One selvage edge is worn, the serging there missing for about a foot.
This rug with a little repair would be fabulous. I've been looking for a suitable patch to repair it. If I find one, I'll sew it in.
On the other hand, this would make about 75-100 kilim pillows, hmmm?
