The building is the Federal Building built on Dearborn,Adams, Jackson, and Clark) completed in 1905. It was designed by Henry Ives Cobb. This buildinghoused Chicago’s central post office until the Old Chicago Main Post Office Building opened in 1934.The building was demolished in 1965 to make way for the current Federal Center designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.It weighs about 4.5 ounces
