YUKIO KOBAYASHI

In 1983, he was appointed chief designer of the men's brand Monsieur Nicole under NICOLE.
In 1987, he presented his collection at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, and since then, he has continuously participated in Paris Fashion Week (Men's).
The brand name Monsieur Nicole was known as MATSUDA overseas, and Kobayashi participated in the Paris Men's Collection as the designer of MATSUDA .

On the other hand, he continued to participate in Tokyo Collection through Monsieur Nicole and became a top designer in the men's division of Tokyo Collection alongside Don Konishi (Yoshiyuki Konishi).

In 1995, he became the designer of the MATSUDA brand, which became a completely separate brand from Monsieur Nicole , and participated in Tokyo Collection as the designer of the new MATSUDA . However, he withdrew from Paris Men's Collection around this time.
He is one of the most famous and accomplished designers in the history of Nicole, second only to the founder.
