This is a charming mid-20th century transferware teapot from Kernewek Potteries in Cornwall, England. This pretty piece has lots of detail and is in wonderful condition. It is hexagonal in shape with a graceful elongated spout and upswept handle. It is decorated in a floral transfer pattern of pinks and greens and trimmed out in lovely shiny gold. It is a 4 cup teapot, measuring 6 tall and 9.25 from the tip of its perfect spout to the back of its pretty handle. It is in excellent condition, with NO nicks, chips, cracks, or crazing and is very clean. Even the gold trim is unworn. Lovely little teapot and a great gift item for the tea enthusiast or collector of transferware!
