The movie Mr. Destiny (1990) was filmed in locations in Winston Salem, NC . Models were needed for Jim Belushi's character's model building scenes so the movie production contacted a local Hobby Shop, Fred's Bicycle & Hobby Shop, to use some of their professionally built models. This model for sale is a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 was one of the models built specifically for the movie and provided to the production company and used for the movie production (not seen on camera). Included is a signed 8x10 of Jim Belushi holding the car on set during the movie with a personalized autograph thanking Fred's for the use of all of the models. Also included is a copy of the film on DVD. I acquired Fred's collection of built models and this was his most prized piece.
This would make a great one of a kind collection piece for any model car or movie prop collector.
