Vintage Green Moss Agate Hinged Bale Pendant Pin – Lovely vintage 1960s to 1970s moss agate stone pendant pin in silver. Very well made with hinged bale and a strong locking clasp. Size is 1 1/8″ tall north to south by 13/16″ east to west. Overall condition is excellent, very gently used. The agate itself is 30mm by 18mm. No cracks or chips. No dents or dings. It wasn’t ever altered or modified. All original. Add any small chain and you will have a lovely, showy, green stone necklace. The back has a very shiny finish which leads me to be believe that it may have had a lacquer coating applied by the jeweler back in the 70s in order to prevent tarnishing. It also has a marking in the silver on the lower back near the rim which is likely a 925 marking for sterling quality.
