Rare vintage Aynsley bone china teacup and saucer both hand painted and signed by Joseph A Bailey (active 1937-1974) one of the most sought after collectible teacup artists from one of the most desired English bone china producers.
Pattern: pink cabbage rose with poppies, forget me nots and other flowers on the inside of the teacup and on the saucer. Both edged in rich gold gilding that also covers the outside of the teacup as well.
Saucer condition: mint vintage
Teacup condition: good-fair vintage with a few very small scratches on the sides and a handle that was repaired at some point with glue. See last five pics.
Price: This particular set runs from 995. to 1600. with both pieces in good vintage condition. Pricing takes into consideration the damaged handle even though it does not distract from its beauty.
