The dress is fastened in the back with a ribbon tied into a bow. White dress is in excellent condition.
The date of Feb, 14 1945 is written inside the box. The bisque body is fully intact, no cracks. Mohair wig is in great shape. Costume is clean and complete, the black painted shoes are still clear painted.
Original polka dot box and red heart cutout, with silver sticker with the name and number of the doll. It is in very good condition. Brown dried glue residue around the hair.

Nancy Ann Storybook dolls were tiny and popular children's dolls made in the late 1930's-1950's. The dolls were high-quality collectables with hand-painted faces, charming use of fabrics and trim on the costumes, and realistic looking hair. Collectors refer to them as Nancy Anns
