Vintage Art Deco New Hall Hanley Staffs England Earthenware Water Pitcher 11.25"

For your consideration is this vintage water pitcher produced by New Hall Pottery Company, LTD. It is marked with "NEWHALL / HANLEY STAFFS / 🏰 / MADE IN / ENGLAND (inside a bell shape)" and according to Encyclopedia of British Pottery and Porcelain Marks by Geoffrey A Godden, F.R.S.A., the printed mark dates from 1930 until 1951. I believe this piece to have been produced in the 1930s. It is rather large measuring approximately at 6.75 inches in diameter x 9.75 inches tall. It does have crazing, what appears to be either a fleabite chip or glazing defect on the spout, and a chip on the inside vessel (see photos). It is still a beautiful piece and perfect for a Farmhouse Style floral arrangement.Shop with confidence when you shop with us.
