Exquisite Vintage Belleek Double Shell Yellow Luster Cream And Sugar. Delicate, translucent parian china. Cream: 4" inches tallSugar Bowl: 2" inches tall and 3.5" inches wideThe creamer has the 5th mark, (1955-1965),and the sugar bowl is the 6th mark, (1965-1980). I purchased this as a set from an antique shop in the mid 1970's. I used it for display only in my breakfront. There are no chips or cracks. The small pottery village of Belleek in Fermanagh County, Ireland had local clay deposits that produced exceptionally translucent goods. It became known as Parian, a soft, mother of pearl glow that became associated with Belleek China.
