VINTAGE HANDPAINTED WOODEN EGG WITH STAND RUSSIAN UKRAINE CZECH SIGNED

This absolutely delightful hand painted wooden egg with stand features a winter scene of a snow topped cabin by a flowing river with leaf barren trees & birds soaring over the forest above. Signed by the artist on the base of the egg, it can be attributed to either a Russian, Ukrainian, or Czechoslovakian painter, I can’t decipher the name enough to know which. The rear of the egg has a shimmery gold paint which the artist matched to a wooden stand, & they applied a moriage-like 3D paint in a filigree pattern for even more dimension! Measuring a large 5-3/4” with a stand measuring 2-1/4”, the total height is 8”. This one of a kind beauty is in EVC, the scene is pristine, & the rear paint has minimal wear. The stand does have a knick that was painted over by the artisan, worth mentioning, please view pics for condition.
