A set of 2 commemorative coins, one silver dollar and the other a silver half dollar, were minted to commemorate 500 years since Christopher Columbus’ discovery of the “New World!”
Both coins show a Columbus standing in the “new world” on the obverse; while on the reverse side of the dollar coin shows half a picture of his flagship the Santa Maria, and a half pic of his namesake the shuttle Columbus; the half dollar’s reverse shows Columbus’ fleet of the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria.
Both coins in a plastic round capsule, set in custom coin holder, in the original mint box with box sleeve; and, accompanied with a certificate of authenticity (COA).
