Vintage CINNAMON BEAR HAND PUPPET LIPMAN WOLFE PORTLAND OR

Instead of Santa Claus at Christmas season, Lipman Wolfe Department Store in Portland Oregon had Cinnamon Bear from the radio stories in their children's department for kid's to visit. I can remember finding him slightly terrifying. The stores sold Cinnamon Bear stuffed toys during those years - which I think would be the 1940's through maybe the 60's. Lipman Wolfe is long gone. This hand puppet is about 11" long. His cloth tag reads Made Exclusively For Lipman Wolfe Co. Portland, Oregon on one side and Animal Fair Inc. Chanhauser ( hard to read), Mass. 55317 Hand Washable plus a bit more info. He's brown fake fur and my photo doesn't show the color right - it's redder than the first pic and darker than the other 2 full length ones. His fur has flattened but isn't matted. I think it will brush out well. His eyes are painted black metal with white felt circles behind them. His nose is black felt. The only issue with this is that whatever the top layer of his mouth was it has deteriorated off & only the layers underneath are left. He is a hand puppet so his body is empty, but his fat head is stuffed leaving room for a finger.
