ANCELLM PAINT CHINO TROUSERS

I've been consistently creating these
chino trousers with paint splatters.

The workwear-inspired chino material,
if made conventionally, can easily look unrefined,
so I've been researching and refining the process to overcome many challenges.

In terms of silhouette,
I've shifted my perspective from the conventional image of chinos,
studying the pattern concepts of dress pants
to create a silhouette that looks beautiful and elongates the legs when standing.

Furthermore,
using a special technique to fade only the density while preserving the color,
I carefully select the paint colors and calculate the amount and placement of the splatters.

Through a process of adjusting the mixture to create a unique expression,
and then reapplying color to restore the original density,
many steps are involved.

While creating a worn, vintage-like expression unique to each item,
it also boasts a modern silhouette and a look not found in vintage clothing.

The balance of the practicality of chinos,
the elegance of the silhouette, and a touch of roughness.
