These vintage Tibetan coins have had negative space carved out of them to expose very delicate and intricately detailed designs. Each carved coin is surrounded by Buddhist symbols and in the center is a creature which has the appearance of a dragon and a horse (influenced by the Chinese Dragon Horse perhaps?) as well as a symbol which may be symbolic of the sun. The coins are then simply wrapped in sterling silver (tested + per acid test) and dangle from French Ear Wires. The backside of each earring will reveal details as to the previous coins which were used in each earring. Someone with a familiarity with Tibetan coins might be able to tell you which ones were used (that person is not me!) Earrings are in excellent LIKE NEW condition and have never been worn but instead were stored for some time. Weight 7.8g.
