Susan Smith circa 1970 ceramic artist. This is a stoneware handmade signed art pottery vase. The fish were applied to the piece before being fired. The applied large fish does exhibit a split caused during the firing process because the two pieces of clay reacted differently during firing, it has always looked like this. I have owned this for decades.
