Chairman and brush-crafter Tesshyu Takemori tackled the crafting makeup brushes based on the art of crafting Japanese fine-point brushes between 1955 and 1965. He has refined his techniques daily, as a master he has put efforts into training a large number of brush-crafters. CEO and founder of the famed Chikuhodo.
Tesshyu Collection brushes are hard to find and are not readily available for purchase. Chikuhodo officially announced the Tesshyu Collection would be discontinued Dec 2022. These brushes have beautifully hand painted wooden handles, handles are lacqured, and have an ergonomic shape fitting your hand comfortably and perfectly.
