Step back in time with this stunning vintage mesh purse by Elasah, a brand associated with quality craftsmanship and often linked to the styles of Whiting & Davis. This early 20th-century handbag features a finely woven metal mesh body, hand-painted with an elegant rose floral design in rich tones of red, green, and blue. The gold-tone metal frame is beautifully detailed and includes the original “ELASAH” signature tag, which is partially detached on one side but still securely present.
The interior is lined with original champagne-colored satin, complete with a ruched pocket. Some spotting and signs of age are present inside (see photos), but the overall structure is sound and the clasp and chain handle are in good working condition.
