This antique ice block tongs is a large, hand-forged by a blacksmith ice hook that is 17.5 inches in length. Made in the United States, this primitive tool is perfect for collecting or adding to a vintage tool collection. These 17.5 ice block tongs hail from the pre electricity era where special buildings where constructed to store ice which was sold to consumers whom would purchase blocks of ice to keep their food fresh in an ice box. These are in good pre owned condition with use wear and a nice patinated luster, they are sturdy and functional and would make a wonderful home decor item.
