Here is a great piece of original art for any John Lennon fan/collector. Artist's I.D. card affixed to the back indicates White China Marker as the medium, and the original price, along with title and artist's information. Artist's signature on front, Bruno D'Atri, with the month & year completed, being August, 1991. Framed with Nielsen brushed silver/metal kits. This drawing is very likely based on one of the many photos taken of the Beatles as a group, and individually, by the famed photographer, Dezo Hoffmann. He was internationally recognized as the leading photographer of the Beatles. From the sources available online, it appears that this photo of John Lennon was taken in July, 1963 (one unverified source states it was July 2, 1963). The last 2 photos are from an auction of a stamped photo in 2008. The back is stamped with "John Lennon, Portrait by Dezo Hoffmann, July 1963" by Apple Corps Ltd. for use in the production of the TV special "The Beatles Anthology" 1995.
