This exquisite set features a miniature Satsuma vase and a matching mini plate, both adorned with intricate hand-painted designs. The vase showcases delicate floral motifs in warm, earthy tones, accented with touches of gold, while the plate depicts a majestic peacock amidst blossoming flowers, also enhanced with gold detailing. According to the maker's marks on the bottom of the pieces, they are believed to have been crafted in the late Meiji era (1868-1912).
Condition: Pitcher in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs, while the plate has an edge that has been repaired (see photo). Some minor wear consistent with age. Sold as is.
